It has been a long time since l have done one of my alphabet series. So yesterday l made my way to Whyte Avenue in Old Strathcona on the southside.
There are many alleys there and here is one of them
This picture reminds me of a poem, I think it is by Carl Sandburg. The poem tells how snow comes in brilliantly white and covers everything in its radiance. Later the snow looks like an old newspaper laying beside the road. Even this gray snow, the kind we have up north because it stays and stays for months, is pretty if you make it into an object of art.
