Or for lease. This is the Union Bank Inn.
The building was built by the Union Bank of Canada in 1910. It occupied the building until 1927.
In 1928 it became home to Grain Trading and Stock Brokerage firm.
In 1970 the North West Trust company moved in.
Eventually it was converted into a lovely hotel
Sadly the pandemic was hard on its business and earlier this year it shut down.
The owners are now trying to sell the building or lease out space.
Anyone interested lol
Far too many banks closing on the High Street here, they want us all online! Saving money! This would have been a very disguised bank & a lovely hotel….who would want to buy such a large building these days sadly. Hope it soon sells.
