The inside views of these homes remind me of my grandmother’s home. Nothing frivolous, everything had a purpose. Very spare decorating, compared to the way we live now. Your collage is such a good storytelling image.
Fascinating to see how he made his home life more comfortable over the years! (I didn't know that Crokinole was a Canadian invention. As a kid, I loved playing it over Christmas when we visited relatives). Thanks for sharing this series of John's houses, Brian. Fav
