In The Garden

On the east side of the Legislative Grounds are the Lois Hole Gardens. She was Alberta's 15th Lieutenant Governor. She served from February 2000 until Jan 2005 when she passed away from cancer.
Amongst many things she was a professional gardener so it was only fitting that the garden was established in her honour
