Connaught Armoury

Edmonton is home to several armouries. This one opened in 1912 and is named after the Duke of Connaught, Queen Victoria's son and Governor General of Canada from 1911-1918.
Today it is a drop in centre run by the Edmonton Youth Emergency Centre
