Swan Song

One more shot of the swan taken this afternoon....it's so frustrating not being able to zoom in closer on these birds. Darn, it's always a case of close, but no cigar for me when it comes to bird shots!!

I know what you mean because I've only got a point and shoot with very limited zoom. You've done a great job with these, however. I love the bird splashing out of the water on the left, too.

Lovely capture. I know what you mean about the zoom. Sometimes I miss the convenience of the bridge camera I used to use. But I wouldn't swap.

@geertje Thank you Geertje....I just wish I could really get up close on the bird shots. They are nearly impossible to get close to before they freak out and fly off. Check out Bill Dodsworth on here if you want to see some AMAZING bird and wildlife shots. He's uses a long lens and his shots are just drop dead gorgeous! :)
