Thanks so much paula! Very nice. I know exactly what you mean about the heaviness of the dslr with the 70-200mm on it. The d700 is a heavy camera, esp with the grip and that lens. Many days it is simply too much for me as my disability worsens, hence one reason I've invested in a micro 4/3 camera and lenses, as they way less than half. However those cameras are not great for action, and I hate coming home with blurs when Jenn gets the killer shots! (she shoots with canon 7d and 5d2.)
I sold my d300 years ago when I bought the d700, and love that camera so much. That said I really miss the extra reach the crop cams give us for wildlife and sports, and ideally would like one of each!! Maybe a d7000 is in my future at some point. I've heard such great things about that can.
