Just hanging above the ground as I emerged from Green Park station to walk to the office. It had been beautifully still, crisp and clear with the moon out as I put the tea leaves out into this compost caddy this morning.
Met Kit, H's partner to hand over my countersigning form for the passport application for their new baby. He gave me a packet of Tim Tams as a thank you. Had never heard of them, but colleagues had. I suspect some of you will be familiar with them.
Late finish as was trying to clear up and hand over HMPO stuff and then deal with a potential problem with the new request form. Completely dark when I left at 6.45pm.
1. Bumped into friend Caroline at lunchtime - up from Bristol for work.
2. Cousin S is coming to London with friends in November.
3. A little bird told us that our regrading applications were excellent and it doesn't look like there'll be any problems.
And a good day too.
