Five days in to our advent calendar from the lovely illustrator Angela Harding.
Working from home after an unaccountably anxious night - the anxiety lingering into the day. Mum stayed the morning - her sniffles not really developing into anything which was good. After lunch, I got her an Uber home.
Sister S due later arriving from France off the Eurostar.
3 good things
1. My regrading has officially come through which means there's a chance I get my new pay in December's pay packet.
2. Some lovely winter sunshine visible from my window - even if I didn't get a chance to get out of the house at all.
3. Watched the first couple of episodes of the US version of Ghosts - not bad, definitely raised a few chuckles.
