The snow started falling yesterday evening and fell heavily for a good few hours. This morning we awoke to find a good 5 to 6 inches on everything. Not had such a dump for several years now.
Dave struggled to get the car out of the parking space what with the deep snow, ice and camber - even when he'd cleared most of the snow. After a massive hissy fit, he went back out with hot water and he managed to get away with a bit of a push from me.
I worked at home, heating cranked up, after a short stroll to marvel at the unexpected wintriness. Tried to go to the post office at lunchtime but the roads were still too slushy to cycle on, so turned back. Sainsbury's delivery managed to make it though.

1. Dave got to and from work safely despite the icy conditions.
2. Reward voucher from work - now what to treat myself to.
3. Dave bright me back sweets from work - not so good is that I scoffed them all.
