Flash floods

We had torrential rain this afternoon and almost tornado strength winds. The end of our cul-de-sac soon filled up, as the water rushed down the street like a river. Luckily, our neighbour at the end of the street created a covered channel two years ago, after heavy rain, for the water to escape out onto the field beyond the fence. You can just see Henry standing between the cars. He was very excited!
Wow that's a lot of water!! A bit of a shock to the system.

Pretty scary, but it sounds like it can escape now. Henry would’ve loved the excitement.

Great appreciation for the neighbor who made the drain. Otherwise you could be in trouble.
