We went here today for breakfast. Then had wander round the grounds, which provide an opportunity to photograph across the city.
This the central memorial Spire, which represents two wing fragments of an Avro Lancaster tapering towards the sky. It stands 31.9m high. It can be seen above the city of Lincoln on the opposite hill to the cathedral .
this is lovely. I've seen your cathedral. If this is at the other end of town it must make for a truly wonderful contract in times and sentiment. well done
