…. Counting out his money.
The Queen was in the parlour eating bread & honey.
The maid was in the garden hanging out the clothes….
When down came a blackbird & pecked off her nose.
I was counting the coins that we collect in a piggy bank today & that nursery rhyme went through my head & I thought it would make a reasonable subject.
I remember that rhyme. Coins are kind of losing their value around here. So much of the things we used to use them on are Apple Paid or just rounded off.
