It is mid November in Cincinnati and we have had quite a few nights below freezing. I was delighted - to say the least - to find my favorite flower, probably among one of my most photographed, to be out in the yard just trying it's little heart out to produce a bloom. I have to say that all summer long I never saw the veining quite like this.
