The sun came out for a brief moment in time - long enough to perk up the pansies that are planted out front. These hardy little souls will hang in for quite a while and come back next Spring.
Pansies are a flower that is full of hope. I love the tiny purple ruffle on the edge of this one.

Thanks for pointing out the purple edge, I missed that at first. Lovely shot, I like pansies - they brighten up the winter here. We are having a rather nice day, temp is 70 with bright sun - I am wearing tshirt, shorts and flip flops today!
