"I'm so excited
that I just can't hide it.
I'm about to lose control and I think I like it!"
Say the Pointer Sisters - and me. If you were alive in the late '70's you are humming this now, aren't you?
I know that I am tooting my own horn but it is my daily journal and I can't help it. Spring Grove Cemetery & Arboretum picked my shot out of the crowd to use as their Facebook Cover page today.
This is where I go so often to find a shot. This is where my buddy the swan lives (I'm a little worried about him with winter approaching). I ought to go back and count how many images that I have shared that I shot there. When I first began this project/journal the shots that I shared of Cincinnati's Spring time came from there.
Nobody that I know is resting in this sacred spot - and I have no intention of being planted. But if I had to pick that I could rest there. I visit for photo ops, pain control, mental health resets and to watch the seasons change. I love it. And I'm so excited that they picked something of mine!!!
This is Just Wonderful!! Congratulations Cathy!! A Beautiful Resting Place ..and if i must say you make it look Inviting!! lol...they made a Grand Choice !FAV!...oh and yes i am now Singing along with you!! :)
Cathy, congratulations! That's just wonderful! I know what you mean about this place. . .it is very special to visit. Don't worry too much about the swan. . .I have watched him overwinter before.
@lyno I am so glad that you said that about him. I just started going there this Spring and now I find myself there fairly often. I literally stop and talk to him and search for him if I don't see him every time I go.
We really do have to meet some day! Getting too cold for Spring Grove, how about Krohn?
