Baking day once again, this time it’s date and cherry chewy cookies. I don’t think they will last long, a friend dropped in and had a couple just cooling out of the oven and my daughter dropped in for 10 mins and took some home for the family, I think I will have to make another batch!!

Ahh...same here, though unplanned! My neighbour came for coffee and remembered she's told a mutual friend she'd bake muffins to sell at a swim meet. I suggested I'd make cookies, so did so while we visited! Dare I say not everything made it to the fund raiser...whoever buys them will get their tasty money's worth! Yours sound almost healthy!!!
Date and cherry. Sounds tasty. A basic chocolate chip cookie recipe substituting the dates and cherries for the chocolate chips? (Just in case I'd want to try them in the future.)
