Grateful! by craftymeg

Grateful!

This ewe must be so grateful she hasn’t been Shawn. Some farmers don’t bother and just let their ewes shed their coats naturally and this year it’s so cold it must be so welcome. The temps for yesterday was and still is 14-15c. I’m wearing a woolen scarf I just can’t get warm.

Thank you for all your lovely comments and favs all are appreciated and welcome.

A lovely shot. I'm sure the ewe is grateful she still has her fleece, and it saves the farmer from paying to have it removed - fav!

Must be a meat animal rather than a fiber animal.

It sure is different there than here. We are stuck indoors most of the day with hot temps and no relief from the sun. Terrific capture of the beautiful sheep.

Lovely.

Beautiful shot. The ewe looks warm in her thick coat. Temperatures have fallen here too but still around 30c max - much better than the 40c's we had some days ago.
