We stopped off at Skinningrove yesterday, the weather was grey wet and miserable and to be honest it didn’t enhance the scenery much, with the tide out the allotments on the hill and the doggy bin in the picture this was our view warts and all!!

Ps, I’m still feeling grotty and hubbie has just tested positive at the 12 days mark!! It’s been a heavy load of virus, at this rate I’m not going to clear before Friday! I’m 8-9 days today.
The brightness of the row of cottages lifts the mood in this shot and we tend to ignore the warts on the landscape ! Keep positive - wish you both better soon !
Yes, the doggy bin and black bag is not the best feature of the image! But, hey, it's reality, and probably reflects a little bit on how you are feeling. I hope you get better soon.
This brings back memories of my one and only visit to Skinningrove, when I walked this part of the Cleveland Way many years ago. I had started my day in Whitby and was walking to Saltburn. After some lovely countryside, Skinningrove came as something of a shock - it was a relief to leave it behind. This gets a fav though, for the memories it brought back!
