Searching for sea glass? by craftymeg

Searching for sea glass?

We thought that or shells, down on the beach at Skinningrove yesterday. There were two people stopping and searching the pebbles intently. Not a very nice day for it but at least there were plenty of nooks and crannies to investigate.
Better on black

Oh dear , or had someone lost a precious trinket on the sands and so desperately looking for it before the tide turns and sweeps all away !

The blue tones in this are lovely. Looks like a lot of pebbles, shells, maybe sea glass to be had.

Lovely chilly capture! I use to collect seaglass on the Isle of Sheppey but there's none to be found there now!

A treasure hunt?

Sorry if my comments about Skinningrove seemed harsh, but there was such a contrast between the beautiful coastal walk and the village. The village seems out of place. It would be entirely fitting in South Yorkshire where I grew up. The thing I found really bad was the orange rocks in the beck, and the dirty water flowing out into the sea. I don't know if the steelworks there is still open, but I presume the pollution originated there.
