"When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visiteth him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and thou has crowned him with glory and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:" (Psalms 8:3-6)
This abstract type creation was a simple shot of the keyboard shelf on my new desk, and through the help of Picnik it turned into this neat little abstract that made me think of a star filled sky. When we consider how precious we are in the sight of our Creator, I feel privileged that He has bestowed upon us the task of overseeing what He has created.
It reminds me of stars too... I like the color hues too and the pattern within the black. :) my son recently took part in raising money for the pets here that became homeless due to fire, in the presentation they gave, they used part of that Psalm.
Both yesterday and today shows wonderful creativity and i love the verses you chose. We would all do well to remember that we are supposed to be guardians of what he created.....we seem to be struggling with that.
Yes...that's a bona-fide Lancaster kitty....I think he might also be Amish. ;o)
