Looking into one of my Carnival Glass Bowls. This collectible glass has many different patterns and they come in various colors. The pieces range in price depending on the age and pattern. It is a heavy glass, and years ago you could get these pieces free as they were used as promotional pieces and often even given away as free gifts. Today, they are a hot item to collect. Some patterns are quite expensive.
I love carnival glass...always thought it amazing how you could see a rainbow of colors when looking at carnival glass. We used to attend "lawn fetes" at the local Catholic churches in Buffalo area...bowls such as this were often prizes in the nickel pitch game ;-)
Beautiful picture....love Carnival Glass. I imagine it would be hard to capture the colors but you did it...nice job. Now I feel the need to get my punch bowl set out of storage! :)
