I love this tiny jumping spider! He's smaller than the nail on your little finger. I caught him cleaning his fangs, you can see that he has one front leg and one palp raised to do the job. He has gorgeous metallic colors. 8)
I love this photo because it really shows my husband's personality. Just prior to this shot on his first attempt to get in the hammock, it spun him over and tossed him out on the ground. He calmly picked himself up and settled in for a short and peaceful nap. Just to be sure you understand, I would have taken a match to it had it tossed me onto the ground!!
I'm so excited that Wausau is hosting the World Cup Junior Canoe Slalom Championships next week. This shot was taken during a practice session on Friday.
I was sure my fireworks on the 4th would be my favorite since I even caught a dragon, but then tonight after I was home for the evening I heard horns honking. How could these guys not win out as a favorite?
This one ... because I've been trying for agees to get to grips with a ring flash, and whilst not perfect, this is showing a vast improvement on my previous attempts :)
@pschtyckque Thank you so much for the compliment! I love your drain photo too!! Such a cool perspective of something overlooked most of the time. @skipt07 Thank you! Love yours too...so many bursts at one time!! @pamfromcalgary Pam, your heron is awesome! We have them here but I've never gotten that close to one before. Thank you for your lovely comment on my fireworks shot!
@pschtyckque - Thx very much. I've done a number of waterfront cityscapes on long exposure, but this one really came out like glass and crisper than usual.
this one because my husband got shot by his own shadow for his bad acting

@joreasonable Do you mean how to get the photo in the box? Go to the page the photo is on, on your project and on the right- under the Views, Comments, Album, Share etc is a box with a copy and paste code. It starts with
I had some bloopers but I'm pretty pleased with this one. I enjoyed everyone's pictures of fireworks so much! The pictures were better than our fireworks!
This one made the popular page, now if only I could figure out where they went too!
@skipt07 Great full composition! Nicely done.
@skipt07 Thank you! Love yours too...so many bursts at one time!!

Worth the bug bites I received when I traipsed across the hillside to get the photo!
Can someone please be kind enough to tell me how to view the photo in the box, like all the others???? Thanks in advance
Of all the shots I've taken this is the one that holds my interest the most.
