Wow! We're at the end of February already! So what is your favorite shot you took this month. No cheating, just one. It should be easy as you only have 28 shots, right. ;-)
Mine is this, of the sunset looking across the SF Bay:
I'm quite happy with most of my Feb shots, I think i have relaxed into the spirit of 365, some days are good others are not so but its still fab to get a shot.
This one wins though
I'm becoming more confident as the weeks go by and there were a few shots I was really pleased with but this has to be my fav. It made the popular page and has been fav'd a few times but I love it cos it's my three boys enjoying themselves which comes across really well in the photo :o)
not as such for the photo itself as i have way better ones in my oppinion but its my fav of the month as i had so much fun with my lads creating this shot :)
Wow, it was really hard to pick! February was a busy month for me so there were a lot of memories to choose from. I ended up picking this one. My daughter had hit her head and took her to the hospital for stitches. They ended up just gluing it shut. This was one for those candid moments that captured her concern.
February has been an exciting and busy month for me, and it's only going to get busier as we move toward June! This photo is so peaceful and just makes me smile.
This one is my favourite because it was taken on a great day, I love the colours and it's SOOC. There are some other shots that I did this month that I think are better, but this one is my fav because it's not a set up or a macro flower shot. I want to experiment and do some different stuff in March and this one inspires me to get out on the street!
They were taken outside of Thompson Falls, MT on my way to Missoula. The big horn sheep are so hard to photograph because their instince is to run away. I got very lucky with both of these!
Loved everything about this, it was fun to do, the sunlight was gorgeous, my model the same and absolutely NO editing so took all of five minutes to pick and load!
This one from Feb. 20th (since all the grandkids are favs and can't just pick one of those).
I like this one because I finally got the moon in focus and it was orange:
My daughter gave me a photo frame for my birthday, two verts and two horizontals. This one was the first one I picked, which was also taken on my birthday.
February was a good month for me (obviously for many others too -- so many great photos here!) as I was starting to feel like I was getting the hang of the manual setting on my camera, and I feel so honored to have had three photos on the popular page! This cute little lady was my first proper macro and my favorite this month!
The very last day of feb ended up being my favorite, Giant Rock is SO huge, I can't get but a 1/10th of it in the shot and still have my car nearby for size comparison.
I am new at this and I get a lot of help from my partner when it comes to using the camera and the settings... I have it pretty figured out now and this one is my favorite because it is something I never would've been able to do before starting 365. So thanks!
Tricky to narrow it down to just one favourite for the whole month! I'll go with this one - my first go at a surreptitious shot of strangers and shooting from the hip!
I excluded the photos that were actually taken some other time but posted in Feb. Some them would have been a better favorite. This one I took yesterday. The snow has finally melted. HOORAY!
@rudit oh, great choice! Thats my fav of yours too! LOL
This is mine :-) Had a good time with mom, after a crappy weekend at the hospital....but we were driving like crazy to get to a good spot to shoot it :-)
There are a few I'm happy with from February (and more than a few that I'm not happy with), but this probably best represents the photos I like to take.
This is mine. It's my parents' hands. They have been married 43 years and I love how you can see the age in their hands and rings. Such an inspiration!
Well, February was a pretty good month for me. I have a few photos that I really liked...and then, I read this entire thread and no longer feel so excited to post mine, lol.
I was blessed and utterly shocked to have 2 of mine make it to the popular page in the same week. However my textbook shot is my February favorite, especially due to the reaction my husband had when he saw it which prompted a heartfelt poem in the comments section:
After living through a February that was gray, snowy, and cold, I found a piece of joy on the 28. I love the subject, the colors, the cropping, and my digital processing with Picnik.
Not really my best shot I am sure but I love this one. I think it captured the energy and distortio of a rainy evening very well.....and for some reason, I really love the colors in this.
This is mine - I was in India for 2 weeks and have loads of great shots to choose from but I loveed this; missed by most of my followers I suspect!
this! =)
made the POP, had the most views and fave of all.. LOVELY!! hihihihi
This one wins though
I have quite a few in Feb which I really like but I've gone for the 10th Feb as I had a lot of fun taking it
choosing one this month was actually quite hard!! this month was a superb one :)
not as such for the photo itself as i have way better ones in my oppinion but its my fav of the month as i had so much fun with my lads creating this shot :)
And this too (I cant decide)
or
and I'm usually very decisive! LOL
Favorrite picture:
February has been an exciting and busy month for me, and it's only going to get busier as we move toward June! This photo is so peaceful and just makes me smile.
that is so adorable....
Opportune moment; without the cyclist this shot would not be as exciting
This one is my favourite because it was taken on a great day, I love the colours and it's SOOC. There are some other shots that I did this month that I think are better, but this one is my fav because it's not a set up or a macro flower shot. My mighty Lumix - starry-sky-setting deserves this one, i like the warmth.
I don't have many decent ones but this one I do like.
I would love to be there right now.
But I do like this one ;D
They were taken outside of Thompson Falls, MT on my way to Missoula. The big horn sheep are so hard to photograph because their instince is to run away. I got very lucky with both of these!
here's my favorite from february (i think...) ;)
I was surprised by the hearts in this tulip.
I really like the focus and DOf I achieved with this photo
CRAP SPIDER!! I got photos of one them just last week, should prolly put it up!
this is my favourite of all my january posts:
Loved everything about this, it was fun to do, the sunlight was gorgeous, my model the same and absolutely NO editing so took all of five minutes to pick and load!
I like this one because I finally got the moon in focus and it was orange:
i like how the colors turned out and the candid idea
that was soooo hard to choose!!
but came out with this one :)
The very last day of feb ended up being my favorite, Giant Rock is SO huge, I can't get but a 1/10th of it in the shot and still have my car nearby for size comparison.
Only took this on Sunday, very pleased with this :-)
This one I think, it's not a pretty picture but I like it cause it's funny :)
This one had the most views
And this one had the most comments
This is mine :-) Had a good time with mom, after a crappy weekend at the hospital....but we were driving like crazy to get to a good spot to shoot it :-)
this one for artistic reasons... otherwise i'd have picked one of my kiddies ;)
Just started to edit with Picnik and loving it!
Anyway, here's my favorite for Feb. =)
My favorite of the month for February.
I think this is probably my favorite, though there were a few other ones in the running. :)
.
This chubby little guy just made me laugh.
Captured on the last day of February.....
This is the favorite of mine that I took.
Seeing your child follow in your footsteps is always sweet. :-)
