Jessica @lilkitty90 was the last to post in the last thread.
All of her photos are wonderful, but this was is just amazing. The perspective and how clear every little hair is and the beautiful lighting on the eyes. Just great shot.
@nodecaff It was not an easy decision, there's so many great shots to choose from but this has got to be the best shot of a daisy in a lawn I've ever seen (having tried a lot of times I know getting one's not the easiest thing in the world!) and I really like the focus and composition too.
@cmuir1963 I love this! I particularly like the feet at the bottom (one of my favourite sounds is at the start of a race hearing all those feet on tarmac).
I am volunteering at http://www.parkrun.org.uk/ next week, so may take my camera with me (if it is working!)
@mlillvis
Gorgeous flowers and congratulations! It was tough to choose, but I love the color in these. I am also from the Bay Area and I remember those ominous clouds at the beginning of the month!
I had a hard time picking between "tree" on 3/3/11, the rose on 2/22/11 and this one. I ended up picking the thistle because I love colors, the play of light on the leaves and the danger of all of those sharp leaves. :)
It was a hard choice between the converse (love your shoes!) and this one. I tend to take a lot of shots like this... I love the way the water droplets sparkle in this shot.
@jlhc I went with this because I love the colors and DOF. However, I was really tempted to pick one of your lightening shots from the beginning of June.
I can't tell you exactly what it is about this picture that I love, but I love it. I love the tones you used to process it but the lighting is also awesome. You've got some great work!!!
@griff Thank you sir. It is something I have really enjoyed learning how to do. The walking around and discovering something new around the corner is just great.
@webfoot
I'm sorry you got skipped, let me remedy that!
This picture is just plain lovely. The wood floor, the fluffy dog, the soft black and white tones, etc. Lovely.
As a person who has tried, tried, and tried to learn to knit, I like this picture even more. There's a very cathartic quality to the lines created when knitting. And then you throw in the lovely color of a nice, soft yard? Ahhhhhh...
@cholbert Thanks, CyndiLou - glad you like it - it's turned into a completed scarf now, which will be someone's christmas present. I'm starting early this year!
@xddx
Love the color and detail of the moss. The mushroom looks kind of other-worldly.
