The beginning of the next step ....

This isn't a particularly good photograph - and it is just taken on my iPhone, however, it is very poignant for me. This is my daughter Adelle talking to an anaesthetist at Auckland Hospital ... in preparation for hopefully having a kidney transplant in two weeks time. It is exciting but scary at the same time. She had one 16 years ago as well and there were all sorts of complications after that one.
