Ratana Temepara Church

On Monday we travelled from Taranaki to Taupo for a week's holiday - travelling via Whanganui. This Ratana Temepara church is located at Raetihi. Such a distinctive building that is sadly falling into major disrepair. However, plans are underway to restore the iconic building.

This would make a great beginning shot for a WWYD challenge. It looks picturesque sitting atop the hill. The orange construction mesh and street light give it away that it's not a photo out of older times.
