Architectural School

Well that was its last incarnation. Before that it was a mental health facility. Two members of my extended family had the misfortune to be patients there. My son attended this school when he got his architectural degree. Now it is being pulled down to become something else.

Too bad, it was a nice building. Probably something with lots of glass will be built. I like many of them also, but I prefer to save a building if possible.

If it's anything like here, whatever replaces it probably won't have much architectural interest.

A shame I think as it looks a good strong & useful shape for conversion to something else.

At lest it was repurposed once. I suspect there will be little of this building remaining with this new incarnation.
