Thanks for all those who expressed good wishes for my son presenting his thesis. This photo is taken with my iPhone and is very poor quality, but it is very special to me so I would like to share it. I'm sorry I haven't had time to respond to all the comments on my photos lately, but will try to get back to them. I have been going out to my son's place on the farm everyday for the last little while and helping while he has been finishing his presentation. One of the things I have been doing is photoshopping people into his images! He was very glad I had some knowledge of photoshop. I also did a hand-drawing for him. Three weeks ago he was in such a stew, felt that his research document was inadequate and was a fail, and didn't want to spend the next three weeks completing his presentation if it was going to fail anyway. He was at breaking point! It took all of us (family) to persuade him that he needed to present his document even if he didn't think it was good enough! Yesterday he had his presentation in front of examiners. 20 minutes to talk and 20 minutes to answer questions. He nailed it!! His supervisor whispered to him later after the examiners had finished looking at his work that he has passed - with an A. You can imagine how ecstatic we were!!
@jgpittenger Thanks Jane - we are so delighted!! It has been a lot of years of hard work and it would have been so awful had he not got over the line !
Thank you all for your lovely comments :-)
