Pine Island by dkbarnett

Pine Island

We have a little boat for fishing - and now with the rest of the family heading home, my son and I put it back on its trailer. I drove the boat around to the marina. What a rough day it was. It is normally so sheltered in the harbour. Pine Island (not sure that is the real name) was planted 1 pine for every child born to a certain family who lived in Opua 100 years or so ago.
I love the water colour and the choppy sea/harbour.

I like the POV that shows the rough water beyond the wharf and the tiny Pine Island.
