Today was divided between meeting a genealogist who is helping Colin to research his family tree - he is now back to the 1750’s and later over to Silvermere golf course for Colin to have a golf club fitting. I was tasked with writing notes on what the golf pro said although I really do not understand what I had written when I got home and typed up my notes!

The feature of Silvermere is a large lake which is home to many geese and ducks. These ‘cootlets’ rushed over hopefully for some bread which sadly I did not have.

(Excuse the quality of the photo taken with the telephoto on my iPhone)
Where was Colin having the golf club fitted??

@padlock He was at Silvermere golf club - it's a public course but very nice and friendly. They have a special range where they stick little dots on the club head and then you can watch the swing and loft of the ball - all very technical!

Love the "cootlets"--is that your term or is it really what baby coots are called?
