In our quest to continue walking to improve our fitness for South America later in the year, we all walked from Penzance to Marazion (St Michael’s Mount) today. On route we passed through the station car park and saw that every dark car had a single seagull sitting on it. We guess that the car roofs are heated by the sun and as it is actually quite chilly in the wind, the seagulls (a juvenile Herring gull here) are sitting on them to warm their bottoms!
