7th September 2021

1 year, 163 days since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020

This morning we braved a trip into Kingston although we took the car to avoid using the buses now that face masks seem to be optional for people. It is a while since I’ve browsed around and I was shocked at how Kingston has gone downhill. So many shops have closed down and cheap vaping or tatty shops have reappeared in their place. It is really depressing. Despite this we managed to pick up what we needed from Boots, collect my jeans from Next and buy a pair of culottes in the sale at White Stuff with a matching t shirt.

In the afternoon I had a meeting at 4.30 with a client regarding purchasing two montage prints and who has turned out to be even more of control freak than me. I had to be very firm this time and get sign off on the design.

Afterwards it was over to Richmond to take the last few shots for my montage. The first two were straight forward but the final one of the herd of the belted Galloway cows took somewhat longer as I could not find them in Petersham Meadows - eventually I found them tucked away grazing in a corner. What lovely afternoon.
