After watching Simon Calder on FaceBook live, I popped out on the pretext of getting my Saturday Guardian but in fact I went to the party shop in Teddington to buy balloons to blow up and cake candles for Colin for his birthday on Tuesday.
In the afternoon we looked at our planned Spain trip for next September (via ferry) to avoid the perils of car hire and also the flights to Norway as I am coming up with a cunning plan to avoid cancellation losses but it’s all down to timing in booking the flights at as the prices change a little every day and I need the most expensive flights to be slightly cheaper so that they will be refundable in case of the need to cancel 0 we cannot be sure of anything these days.
