1 year, 251 days since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020
Today was my busy day and Colin’s golf and lunch day. I was up early to drive him to golf as I needed the car later in the morning. I nipped home and had breakfast before going to Fat Fighters where I was very pleased to have found that despite a few diet slips, I had lost another 1.5 lbs taking me to 13lbs since I started a couple of months ago. I know I will be putting some weight on over Christmas but it is a good start to make the damage not as bad - I am not skipping no Christmas treats!
Then back in the car and I drove to Molesey to make a card delivery and to pick up cards for a number of peoples birthday including Sophie’s on the 20th of December. Then I managed to get the new car SatNav to calculate a route to my friend Ann as I had three cups to collect ready for my event at Fulwell next week. We caught up for a chat and to hear her woes - I hope she is better for next week. I also wished she had actually cleaned the cups - I forecast a big cleaning session for Colin and myself.
Back to Fulwell to drop off the car - I sent a photo and a description of where I had parked it so that Colin could drop off his golf bag - evidenced by todays photo! Then a walk back to Squires to deliver more greeting cards to there Goods-In department. I then got the bus and was going to head back for lunch but in the event as the bus was not very crowded, I stayed on until I got to Kingston. I finally managed to find plain marzipan with no chocolate in Lakeland so I collected those boxes and had a fruitless search for sugared almonds in Waitrose. Back on the bus back home for a late lunch - I was pretty peckish by this time.
Finally a telephone call at 4.30pm and it was back of the 281 towards Fulwell - now pretty nippy - and I collected Colin and John from the golf club and took them both home.
