Unidentified Caterpillar by falcon11

Unidentified Caterpillar

If anyone out there knows what this is let me know. It is probably not native to New England or even the US. I love how it has stripped one whole side of this leaf and is now starting on the other. At The Butterfly Zoo, Tiverton, RI.

Another butterfly capture in main album: http://365project.org/falcon11/365/2013-09-08
What an amazing thing to see! I wish I could go to one of these exhibits! What a weird caterpillar! Great shot of it! And, is that black thing on the back part of it?

@espyetta Unfortunately this zoo will be closing in a few weeks for the season, once the butterflies have died. They only live 7-10 days. I think this might be an exotic butterfly of some kind, because there were no moths in this enclosure. The black thing is poop probably!
