Blossom

Not only are bulbs producing flowers, but blossom is appearing on the trees as well. I think this is Cherry Blossom, and the tree that it was on had quite a big display.

The flowers (and the people) are in for a big shock over the next few days, with temperatures falling from the current 18C down to around 9C or 8C, with night temperatures low enough for a little sleet or snow in some areas.

It is really nice to see the spring flowers burst into bloom, and for the last few days we have enjoyed temperatures well above normal here in the UK.
