Blue Sky at Last! by fishers

Blue Sky at Last!

Following our refreshments at the Moors Centre cafe at Danby on Saturday, we enjoyed a relaxing wander around the grounds and along an attractive footpath to the south, but regularly checking on the sky to see what weather we might imminently expect. The sky was quite dramatic at times, but we were fortunate to escape more rain. It was a pleasant and very relaxing time.

A lovely pop of blue, so glad you have started your moors bus trips. We have not been to the centre for years but we pass it very nearly every week, we were past on Saturday!

Thank you all for your lovely comments, they are very much appreciated.

We were fortunate to avoid the rain on Saturday, since there were several showers during the day. It was lovely to see the Moors again, and some of the early heather by the roadside over Blakey Ridge.

@craftymeg

We were there just before noon for just over two hours when we continued our tour via Guisbrough and Stokesley and down Bilsdale. They do lovely cakes at the Moors Centre, although the prices have risen quite a lot this year.
