Taken a couple of days ago, from the front of our house, but actually it could have been taken on almost any day recently.
A weather warning today made me wonder if going into York city centre was a good idea, but since I have to go in one day this week, I thought the rain today might have resulted in the centre being less busy, but I was disappointed. Traffic was very busy so my bus was delayed, and the half term throngs of visitors filled the streets in the pedestrian area. Still, I achieved the objective of my visit, and while in the centre there was a short dry spell, and I took a few photos while it lasted. Then a wait again for the bus, with services still delayed by heavy traffic. I really should know better than to go into York city centre during a school holiday.
Now at home again, and a relative of the big black clouds in my photo can be seen, so it wouldn't be a surprise if we soon have yet more heavy rain.
Thank yo to those who commented on Oliver's photo yesterday, I'm hoping it will have encouraged him to take more photos.
Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.
The parade of heavy rain showers followed by sunshine followed by more rain continues, and it feels cool today with quite a strong wind. It's really time for some nicer weather!
