The sun shines bright on
my old Kentucky home.
...Stephen C. Foster
Federal Hill is better known as "My Old Kentucky Home." This Kentucky landmark was the estate of Judge John Rowan and also served as the inspiration for Stephen Foster's minstrel song of the same name. We took a tour of the home, a fascinating place, and walked the grounds. We also visited the gift shop before heading out on the Bourbon Trail. So much to see, so little time...
Since it is 5:32am and I haven’t been to bed yet, I will bid you all adieu for now. Katniss is mad at me for keeping her up all night. She was trying to chew the laptop cord and thinking “enough already!” She will not go to bed until I go to bed, then she sleeps at my feet...what a sweetheart.
Another great collage. With so many wonderful things you did, it's a good way to show 6 photos at once. I love MOKH. I get misty-eyed every time I hear the song.
I'm the one who CC came to visit in Cincinnati. I thought I'd add my post of the day if it corresponds with Cathee's. Just another way of keeping our trip together. I miss you Cathee. Come back!! https://365project.org/yogiw/2019/2019-04-16
Katniss sounds like Arky - he does exactly the same thing!
