Deputy Adam Gibson and K9 named Riley, were both killed in a shootout with a suspect in Sacramento, Monday night. Deputy Gibson, was a six year Sacramento Deputy and a US Marine Corp veteran. He was 31 years old, married and had a 9 month old baby. K9 Riley was a 5 year old Belgium Malinois who served for 3 years. End of watch January 18, 2021.
Two incidents in 4 days. Three officers shot and one K9. Two dead and two in the hospital. Heartbreaking and very difficult to post.
A police officer gets dispatched to an incident over 240,000 times a year. This equates to once every 22 minutes an officer risks their life for your safety.

That’s just so, so sad. I’m so very, very grateful that’s it’s incredibly difficult for anyone to get hold of a gun here in the UK as our gun laws are so strict.
