Police Officers Take Risks by gardenfolk

Police Officers Take Risks

Police officers take risks
and secure the safety of
fellow citizens and they
endure such risks and
tolerate such inconveniences
on behalf of strangers.
Consequently, police work
is one of the more noble
and selfless occupations
in society.
Making a difference
in the quality of life is an
opportunity that policing provides
and few other professions offer.

Rest In Peace:

Deputy Adam Gibson and K9 named Riley, were both killed in a shootout with a suspect in Sacramento, Monday night. Deputy Gibson, was a six year Sacramento Deputy and a US Marine Corp veteran. He was 31 years old, married and had a 9 month old baby. K9 Riley was a 5 year old Belgium Malinois who served for 3 years. End of watch January 18, 2021.

Two incidents in 4 days. Three officers shot and one K9. Two dead and two in the hospital. Heartbreaking and very difficult to post.

A police officer gets dispatched to an incident over 240,000 times a year. This equates to once every 22 minutes an officer risks their life for your safety.

Beautiful photo. Love the details of the white rose. Sad, and we’re only 20 days into the new year. But I am celebrating today.

Beautiful flower. My heart hurts about the K9. And so sad about the young officer. A lot of things that happen are senseless.

We have a friend who is a police chaplain in California, she knew this deputy and his K9, he was a fine man. So very heartbreaking for everyone.

That’s just so, so sad. I’m so very, very grateful that’s it’s incredibly difficult for anyone to get hold of a gun here in the UK as our gun laws are so strict.
