This is an old photograph of my Dorothy costume from The Wizard of Oz. I had the dress made and I made the ruby slippers to wear for Halloween. My little black Mini Schnauzer, Molly, was Toto.
I returned from Catalina Island with a touch of a sore throat. Then my ears stayed clogged for 24 hours after the plane flight. I went to bed early and woke up several times with joint and body aches. Next I got a bad cough, headache and couldn't keep my eyes open. I slept all day and all night. I had almost every covid symptom except a temperature and trouble breathing.
I did take a covid test and thank goodness it was negative. I haven't even unpacked so I could go back to Catalina. Instead, I will continue to post Catalina photos through the end of July since I took so many photographs.
How absolutely fabulous!!! I'm delighted you continue to photograph this marvelous "costume" since it's so worthy of sharing! (In Hawaii, celebrating Heather's birthday, she'd asked if she might have my charm bracelet. I found FIVE that I had through the years...and gave them all to her!)
