We have had visitors this morning. These three hens live next door & much to the disgust of our hens they were roaming free this morning & having a whale of a time scratching & pecking just where they felt like it. I could see our hens peering through the fence, & their little heads were bobbing up & down very indignantly !!
Ahhh . . so the grass IS greener on the other side of the fence. Well, it's a beautiful capture of these little interlopers! They're lovely. Did you offer them tea?! :)
They look very proud of themselves! My neighbour's hens spend nearly all their time in my garden! The grass is obviously greener on my side of the fence!
Pat, you are having a good day for your narratives today..hens having a "whale of a time scratching & pecking" ...great comment for a lovely candid hen shot
Ha - i'm laughing at the idea of yours being so indignant Pat - that makes me laugh. Hope the intrepid adventurers didn't scratch up anything they weren't supposed to. How lovely having your own chooks. We use lots of eggs, but have to buy them.
they do look worried, interested, indignant!!)))
