The bread of life. by happypat

The bread of life.

No new photo today as the weather is absolutely awful, cold & very wet !!!
I just nipped out to buy some dog food & a porridge pan this afternoon but had no opportunity to take any pictures !
I took this one yesterday morning so have used it today instead. Lovely corn bread from the local bakery , butter & apricot jam, yummy !!!

Out tonight to a Burns night dinner so will be unable to comment until tomorrow. We have a little local free magazine & Harry is one of the deliverers down our lane so he gets a free ticket & I have to pay !!!

I love this composition and the homeliness of it.

Lovely homely picture, can smell the toast and love the reflection of Max's photo in the toaster!

@sarah19 Well you have sharp eyes Sallie, it is actually a magnet with his picture on but the toaster is the only metal thing in the kitchen that it will stick to !!!!

Another lovely shot from Pat's cosy kitchen. I recognize the jam with its red and white lid.

A lovely domestic scene. Snow up here so it's been a cosy day indoors for me too.

Lovely blue and white theme and proper farmhouse kitchen again!! So cosy and lovely for a hideous day. I bet Tui isn't impressed either! Monty is still trying to get his ears dry (by rubbing his head on my trousers!) I hate all this exam business - Rachel said it was really difficult in places but she's always quite calm so it's hard to tell...

well that is a warm and inviting set up! I just want to cozy up to the counter there and start smearing apricot jam all over a hunk of that bread. think there's enough to go around? :)
