The first of many..... by happypat

The first of many.....

Our first lunch out in the sun this year... hooray !!! A glorious sunny day with temperatures around 19c. Got the cushions out to air but no umbrella up yet, I want to feel the warm sun.
Ham buns, salad, coleslaw & a few crisps & with the morning papers in front of us we really enjoyed this first this year!
Harry's next job is to power wash the chairs & table, get rid of all the green & bring them back to new.

British summer time starts at 2am in the morning so we all loose an hours sleep but lighter nights tomorrow !!!
Al fresco dining at its best! Warm enough for that here too. The warmth is so welcome at this time of the year.

We need to power wash too but I'm not sure we're allowed with the hosepipe ban. Looks like a lovely lunch - a bit posher than mine which was a do it yourself roll and nowt else!

It is so good to be able to venture out without hats and gloves, I welcome the sunny days too. Nice sunny shot :-)

@tsingtao Thank goodness no more carting hay on carts...I have done a bit of that in my time, back breaking work !! Loved the smell of honeysuckle though as we wended our way along the farm track in the evening !!

How nice to be able to eat outside in March

We are back to cold and dreary after our very warm spell. This looks so inviting! I don't dare put up our awning and bring out the patio furniture, we are still able to have a doozy of a snowstorm through mid-April that could take it all down.

It certainly is an occasion worth a photo and this really captures it very well, your lunch looks so inviting! We ate outside at Culzean Castle but the lunch wasn't as nice as yours looks.

Great catch. Lunch outside is the best. We went to *summer time* three weeks ago. It makes for a much more enjoyable evening.
