Never looked so good! by happypat

Never looked so good!

Met my DIL at Manchester airport this morning & noticed this strangely clad girl (or unclad) getting off the same plane... considering it was a long haul flight I thought it was very strange attire!
Not sure where the other womans leg has gone!!!

Off to the pictures tonight so will ba absent from comments... I will catch up tomorrow.

Three good things:
1. Lovely to have Lesley staying with us for two weeks.
2. I forgot to watch Downton on Sunday so have just caught up this afternoon... no adverts recorded when watching 'catch up TV'!!!
3. Mint M&M's from NZ!
Love this! A brilliant shot which captures the feel of an airport really well. Girl is very bizarre!

Imaginative shot, Pat! Lack of adverts is a great advantage of catch up TV, I think.

What a cool shot...the one legged high heeled woman all in a blur, the signs about obsession and chauffeur and the interestingly dressed woman!

@tishpics @quietpurplehaze @jgpittenger Thank you all..I did think it was quite an interesting mix of signs!!!

Great feel of the atmosphere of an airport - like the motion blur. Her outfit makes me think of when you see people coming back from their holidays at the end of summer in tiny shirts and t-shirts when it's blowing a gale and hasn't gone above 15 degrees in the UK!

I am totally fascinated by the person with one leg! Seems to be male, looking at the hair but high heel on that foot! Lesley's parents obviously live close by - she couldn't stay with them - in a rest home?

Great shot and love the one legged high-heeled woman! How bizarre, but funny.

Great sense of movement and the hustle and bustle of an airport. Love your selective colouring too.

Super fun airport shot, Pat! A great look at the rush of travelers. Have a wonderful time with your daughter-in-law. Lucky you to have Downton Abbey on for a new season. In the States, we have to wait until January. :(

@maggiemae No room at their house maggiemae & we are geared up for visitors...plenty of bathrooms...take note all welcome!!! They used to live in part of the house next door so like coming home...Lesleys parents 10 minutes away.

This works really well - you've caught all the bustle and blur and anonymity and adverts of an airport!

A good shot. It captures the speed that people want to move through the airport.

I was appreciating the movement and the fashion, and then you mentioned the missing leg. Obsession is right. Now I am just creeped out.

Great street shot! Love the motion trail. Really says something about our lifestyles. And great signage! I'd reluctantly agree to being picked up by a chauffeur! :)

This is such a fascinating picture...So much to look at and figure out. My hubby and I have sat here for a good few minutes pointing things out. He spotted the blur of the other leg behind the first one....you can just about make out the shadow of the heel of the shoe.

Great street photo - looks great large!
Love the motion blur as well. It really adds to the photo.
