Bombing down Garstang High Street at quite a pace of knots this lady had the whole road to herself!
A clearing up day today......all beds to change but only one in for the rest of the week.
Rained on & off all day but Harry had a good game of bowls.
Lovely talk to my sister this morning....she starts her chemo on Friday.
Three good things:
1. Seeing Finn crawling for the first time this morning on Skype. Daddy was reading Max a bedtime story from the Survival book by Bear Grylls...he is his fathers son!!
2. A wonderful crop of new books to explore provided my FB friends...a great thread seeing the different books people love.
3. Blackberry crumble for tea.
Wonderfully co-ordinated in blue! A gent here rides a similar vehicle up and down the hill (on the road, not the path) where the speed limit is 30 but not many people stick to it. Sometimes I have to close my eyes.
I can see the coordination too, and the determination. Enjoy your books. Pass on any good reads to me. We're in a book group but I need more to keep me going
Cute photo - these mobility scooters are a great way for keeping some independence when driving a car is no longer an option - she looks like she is on a mission. Hope things go well for your sister. How neat to see your little 'kiwi' grandson crawling!
My best wishes to your sister on the start of her chemo treatment, I hope all will go smoothly for her !
Lovely capture of this determined looking lady determined to do her shopping quick !! A lovely looking shop - The kind I like to visit !!
She looks very purposeful on her vehicle! Great to have the mind to use this to get around......some people feel a bit too self conscious.
Skype is awesome! And hope things go well for your sister. It's amazing how these treatments have developed but still quite a thought for those involved and their families xx
Fantastic shot... love it... fav.. Max sounds like our Bryce never into kids books.. George use to read the FArming news papers to him... Thoughts are with your Sister..
I know it's so much nicer getting an individual reply but by the time I have done all my commenting I haven't much time left so forgive me the mass reply again.
Thanks for your concern over my sister she would be grateful for your care.
Your comments are much appreciated ...every single one! Thank you.
What a great picture. Out here they have to have an orange flag on a pole stuck on the back of the motorised wheelchairs and I have told David that if I ever get to that stage I will have a skull and crossbones on mine. ha ha.
