We have been at the agriculture show for most of the day.
It's been a really good turn out over the two days of
the show.....forty thousand is the usual number when the weather is good.
Pleased to see the buyer of our milk, Butlers Farmhouse Cheeses almost wiped the board!
I got a second & a fourth for my photos .....600 entries so not too bad....will do better next year!
Three good things:
1. A lovely day meeting friends.
2. Jack has come to see us tonight.
3. Learn yet how to make hot crust pastry pork & sausage meat pie.
Congratulations Mrs K . -- 2nd and 3rd is pretty good out of that vast number -- I should think !
Those Cheeses look huge and scrumptious -- wouldn't mind a taste !!
These are serious cheeses here - it must be a cheese making area! I should think you would be rapt with your placing in the photos! Think how many budding or serious photographers are around! Is this pork sausage pie or pork and sausage? Sounds rich and yummy!
@digitalrn Well it isn't as good as it sounds Rick......there were all different classes so there might have only been 20 or 30 photos to choose from in that particular judging . I think if I had been 2 & 3rd out of the whole 600 I would be shouting from the roof tops! Thanks for your praise if not quite deserved!!
