No time for photo taking today so another filler from our walk around Downham.
I liked the way the windows stood out & the little lake in the front.....not sure if the lake is a pond or a flood!
Three good things:
1. I have finished the decorating for now. Still a bit of painting to do but everything is in its place if I have any unexpected B&B's arrive.
2. Listening to Jeremy Vine while working.
3. I like the result unlike when I did our bedroom & found I wasn't too keen on the colour!
@julzmaioro yes I think this is what you would call a typical English farmhouse Julz. Front door in the middle that no one ever uses I might add & Windows either side & on the next floor,
I like this composition for where it is taken with the gate and fence in front and still able to see the balanced architecture of the wee two storied cottage! fav
@maggiemae Yes it's quite nice, I had no idea how you reached this house , it just seemed to be sitting in the field but there must be a road in somewhere!
@quietpurplehaze@phil_howcroft Thank you Hazel & Phil......a lovely place to live in the summer but definitely bleak in the winter. Pendle Hill can be slightly daunting with its tale if witches.
Remember witch hazel?!
Glad I made you laugh, Pat!!!!!!!!
