I wonder which one? by happypat

I wonder which one?

So much choice to choose from yesterday at the fair. Lots of cashmere poncho type wraps which looked lovely on all the little thin assistants...I was very tempted but at well over a £100, the nicest ones were £180 I resisted!
This chap had a very winning way at selling his wares....I think he did good trade!

Absolutely pouring down all day here, I think it's hardly stopped for days & the fields & rivers are alarmingly high. Storm Desmond is in full force! I think we have started having much worse storms since we started the trend of naming each one!

Update 40 severe flood warnings in Lancashire!

Three good things:
1. My lovely new coat is keeping me so warm & dry...I think it's my fault were having all this bad weather because ever since I bought it a month ago it's never stopped raining!
2. I have been in the new Aldi for a look & must say the staff are charming & so cheerful & helpful.
3. Lovely chatty B&Bers in this weekend.
I'm enjoying my lidl bread, sausages, camembert and spinach hotdog for tea right as I type! Saturday nights are "telly tea" night. We are quite old fashioned here, breakfast at the table on school days and evening meals too. Lunches at weekend at the table but Saturday evenings are cuddled up with the telly on and picnic type teas....called telly tea and me and sisters STILL call it "choosing tea" when we go home to our parents. I agree the storms do seem worse since they have names!

Interesting shot. Must be difficult to decide. Maybe you should write a letter to Santa Pat and he could deliver one on Christmas Day.

What a lovely and inviting scene -- lovely stalls to browse amongst !! I have a couple of poncho type garments but Knitted and are a wonderful cover ups without the hassle of deciding what will fit under them , great for driving -- no restrictions on the arms and lovely and warm on my scooter !! But what I look like I do not know !!!!!!!! So rough and windy here too one little fence in the garden is swinging dangerously in the wind !! -- Must find someone to repair it beginning of the week !!

Do I see cashmere socks and scarves at the top right of your photo? I do believe I could have done some of my Christmas shopping there. I love shopping "with you" through your capture.

@beryl Thanks Beryl......I hope you have had a really lovely birthday today. Not good weathers use for any jaunts out you may have had....will have to read your post today to find out! All this water. & overflowing rivers is scary...I do hope everyone keeps safe & no water in houses at this time of year especially.

I just saw a picture of the flooding from a 365'er! Wow! Why do they have male names - Desmond? Never knew a Desmond! Smiling at your comment about getting down from the table! We still do that with our young grandchildren. As children ourselves, we learnt to say "May we get down from the table, please" Instead of 'can'! English being taught.

@essiesue You could have done plenty of shopping here Sue, lots of things at special show price too. All different prices but lots & lots of Christmas stuff. Tempting to buy when you see it all lit up but you have to to remember it's only one short couple of weeks or so!

Fabulous warm colours and soooooo tempting! I love cashmere and cosy throws and blankets are so comforting.
We had a stormy night last night but quite a calm and gentle day. Seems like we are the only part of the country to escape the awful rain and floods.

The goods at fairs are always so good, but tend to be expensive. The floods were on the news here tonight. I hope you are all safe
